A partnership (or LLP) and a private company both work. They do not work the same. A company offers limited liability and a form bankers and collaborators recognise; it also offers ROC filings, a statutory audit, and less privacy. A partnership is lighter to run and is taxed as a firm (with interest and remuneration rules); partners’ liability is unlimited unless it is an LLP. Growing mills, GIDA units that want term loans, and Ayodhya project vehicles are often cleaner as companies. A two-person local trade that will remain local is often cleaner as a firm. The facts decide; a slogan does not. See incorporation and accounting and advisory.
